TV function works fine with Avermedia's software.
And I have no idea how to reset the bios-settings.
Exe -MediaCenterRecoveryTask - this seems to reset Media Center OK but doesn't fix download problem (3) combination of (1) and (2) (4) trying to run mcupdate.
The progress indicator line on the screen does not advance. However when configuring Windows Media Center it gets stuck at the TV configuration setup in Windows Media Center - at downloading TV setup data. Some of my hardware specs are as follows: Motherboard: Asus P5E X38, cPU: Intel Core2 Duo E6850.0 Ghz.It just stays there with no error messages or other pop ups.I have tried this from both USB and CD, and after an hour or so setup is still in this state in both cases.Found this thread: /forum/ where various people suggest disabling various things in the bios.Set up hangs at "Downloading TV Setup Data" page.I ms office 2010 full cracked version have an HP usb TV tuner. And no, I have not asked Microsoft.(and I don't want to reinstall Windows!).I am unable to set up Media Center to receive tv through the tuner.Nothing more happens, and the setup seems to hang.
I need to install the OS from boot in order to split my C: into two different partitions, as this is not allowed when installing from inside Vista.
And yes, I can still move my mouse around on the blue-ish screen, but I have not waited more than 10 minutes before giving up (gonna try waiting longer).
